Component 4: Project and Program Management

This covers the provision resources required for leadership and management of all Program related technical and administrative activities undertaken in the RMI.

What is the significance of this to the Marshallese populace within the region?

This component covers financial management, logistics, monitoring and evaluation,  communications and outreach, safeguards and procurement oversight, and reporting of the Program.

A key focus of the highly skilled group of technical specialists engaged to implement Phase 2 of the Program is to ensure that each project covered by the Program is managed in such a way to secure outcomes that are relevant and meaningful to the impacted communities, delivering tangible benefits for the people of the Marshall Islands.

Additionally, the Program is managed with the intent of building durable relationships and trust among stakeholders and ensuring that each project is implemented in a way that is inclusive, fair and equitable. This approach helps to ensure that the project will be widely supported, have a positive impact in the community by delivering the intended benefits which will endure into the medium and longer term.
